About Midlands Asbestos Survey Services

Midlands Asbestos Survey Services are a local independent Asbestos Survey Company based in Leamington Spa .We are able to offer all ‘ Types’ of asbestos surveys. All sample analysis is undertaken by a UKAS accredited laboratory, we have no links to any asbestos removal companies, and so all results are impartial.

If you own, manage, occupy or have responsibilities for the premises, you have a legal obligation to have your premises Asbestos surveyed under regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos 2006. It is your duty to manage Asbestos in your premises.

Not the landlord’s, yours as the occupier. Your Insurance company may also insist that you have your premises asbestos surveyed. The new asbestos management legislation was brought in to do one thing: preserve human life.

It is your duty to look after your staff and maintenance contractors. Make them aware of any Asbestos in your premises, Asbestos can be very dangerous when disturbed, it needs to be identified and registered so you can make others aware.

1. H.S.E inspectors have the power to issue prohibition notices closing your site.
2. Companies can be fined an unlimited amount, and individuals £20,000.
3. Responsible individuals can be imprisoned for up to 2 years.
4. Directors can be disqualified.
